About Lawton

Lawton is the fourth largest city in Oklahoma. It is a great place for our residents to grow and thrive as there are numerous opportunities for our residents to work and explore.

Whether you are considering our facility as your family member’s new home or are even considering moving to the area yourself, you’ll find the people of Lawton to be friendly. The down to earth quality of Lawton makes it a place you can easily feel welcome, comfortable and at home as the new home for your family member.

Lawton serves as a prominent medical, shopping, recreational, and educational center for the surrounding rural communities of southwest Oklahoma. The city is less than 90 miles from Oklahoma City, and less than 200 miles from Dallas, Texas.

Lawton is also a short 15 minute drive from the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. Over 22,000 acres of this 59,000 acre area are open to the public within the refuge. Visitors enjoy hunting, water sports, sailing, hiking, fishing, camping, and climbing. The natural grasslands within the refuge provide a home for various wildlife including elk, bison, deer, and longhorn.
